Yas Drag Night is a practice-testing format for drivers and riders who want to explore straight-line performance on an accredited drag strip.
Safe · controlled · timed
Once your vehicle passes technical inspection, you can line up against an opponent and run against the clock.
The official programme allows repeated drag runs during the live session, with Yas Marina Circuit staff managing scrutineering, staging and safety procedures.

Park at the Yas Drag Racing Car Park, have your ticket order number ready and register at main reception.

Technical inspection
Every vehicle must be roadworthy and approved by Yas Marina Circuit's scrutineering team.

Once approved, line up against an opponent and make repeated timed runs during the live session.

Requirements

Roadworthy first.
- Saloon, sport, SUV, trucks and sport bikes are permitted.
- Pro and street cars require safety tech approval.
- Engine, fuel, battery, chassis and suspension must be in good condition.
- Lift kits and off-road tyres are prohibited.
Helmet on.
- Crash helmet with chin strap fastened is mandatory.
- Long sleeves, full-length trousers and closed flat shoes are required.
- Maximum speed in the return road and drag paddock is 40 km/h.
- Burnouts are limited to the designated burnout box.

Roll Racing starts with the cars already moving before the lights release them down the strip. Drivers agree a rolling speed, then go head-to-head once the run is live — a more accessible route into straight-line competition.
